dc.description.abstractÇalışmanın amacı, Covid-19 salgınında engelli çocuğuna bakım veren annelerdeki bel ağrısı ile kas kuvveti, fiziksel iş yükü ve depresyon arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklemi Sivas ili merkezinde özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon okullarına devam eden engelli çocuğuna bakım veren 200 anneden oluşturulmuştur. Değerlendirmede Beck Depresyon Ölçeği (BDÖ), Fiziksel İş Yükü Anketi (FİYA) ve kas kuvveti için dominant elin el dinamometresi kavrama gücü ölçümü kullanılmıştır. Sonuçların analizinde Ki-kare, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Testleri ve Basit Doğrusal Regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. 200 engelli çocuk annesinin (35,56±5,72, yaş aralığı 21-45) verileri analiz edilmiştir. Onların 175 (%87,5)'inde bel ağrısı olduğu ve Covid-19 hikayesi olanlarda bel ağrısı oranının yaklaşık %91'e yükseldiği belirlenmiştir. Herhangi bir ağrısı olmayanlar ile karşılaştırıldığında bel ağrısı olan annelerin anlamlı düzeyde düşük kas gücüne ve yüksek depresyon puanına sahip oldukları bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Regreyon analizlerinde bel ağrısı şiddetinin %3 ünün (R2= 0,032) FİYA ile açıklanabileceği, yaklaşık %7 sinin (R2=0,066) BDÖ sonucuyla açıklanabileceğini ortaya konmuştur. Sonuçlar Covid-19 sürecinde engelli çocuğuna bakan annelerin bel ağrısında önemli bir artışın ve kas gücünde azalmanın olduğunu ve annelerin bel ağrısı şiddetinin artan fiziksel iş yükü ve depresyonla açıklanabileceğini işaret etmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the study was to determine the relationships between low back pain and muscle strength, physical workload and depression in mothers caring for their disabled children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample of the study consisted of 200 mothers caring for their disabled children attending special education and rehabilitation schools in the center of Sivas city. Beck Depression Index (BDI), Physical Workload Questionnaire (PWLQ) and hand dynamometer grip strength measurement of dominant hand for muscle strength were used in the evaluation. Chi-square, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Tests and Simple Linear Regression analyses were used to analyze the results. Data of 200 mothers of children with disabilities (35.56±5.72, age range 21-45) were analyzed. It was found that 175 (87.5%) of them had low back pain and the rate of low back pain increased to about 91% in those with a history of Covid-19. Compared to those without any pain, mothers with low back pain had significantly lower muscle strength and higher depression scores (p<0.05). Regression analyses revealed that 3% (R2= 0.032) of the severity of low back pain could be explained by the PWLQ, and approximately 7% (R2= 0.066) could be explained by the BDI score. The results indicated that there was a significant increase in low back pain and decrease in muscle strength of mothers caring for their disabled children during the Covid-19 period and that the severity of low back pain of mothers could be explained by increased physical workload and depression.en_US
