Primary tumors of the chest wall are very rare. We herein report a very rare case of non-Hodgkin lymphoma presenting with a solitary chest wall mass. A 52-year-old female patient admitted to our hospital because of an abnormality detected on her chest X-ray during the preoperative evaluation for surgical therapy of femur fracture. On physical examination, a 10×7 cm sized, immobile, irregular mass involving the 6.-8. ribs on posterior chest wall was detected. Chest computerized tomography demonstrated a mass invading also the muscles on the chest wall. The histopathological examination of the tru-cut biopsy specimen obtained from the mass was reported as diffuse large B cell lymphoma. The patient received systemic chemotherapy and local radiotherapy. She is still being followed up with no evidence of active disease 22 months after the initial diagnosis. © Gülhane Askeri Ti{dotless}p Akademisi 2009.
