Özet
It has been argued in the books written on fiqh whether the values of the goods subjected to legal alms can be paid when they are themselves available. The reflections of these arguments are continuing to exist today. Likewise, there have been arguments over whether it is possible to give charity the value of the animal to sacrifice instead of sacrifcing it when it is available and which one has more merit. In addition to these approaches, it is argued today if sacrificing an animal is an assigned worship and if there is such kind of ritual in Islam. Therefore, these arguments have actually an important effect on the majority of people. Setting out from this point we have thought to present both of the matters in a wide angle as much as possible without leaving them as permitted or non-permitted. Especially we tried to clarify what should be understood from value in legal alms and whether sacrificing an animal is an assigned worship or not.
