Osteoporozlu hastalarda serum leptin seviyelerinin belirlenmesi

dc.description.abstractGünümüzün hastalıklarından biri olan osteoporoz kemik metabolizmasındaki bir bozukluk sonucunda iskelette ortaya çıkan ve kemiklerin çok kolay kırılabilmesine sebep olan bir hastalıktır. Peptid yapıda bir hormon olan Leptin, enerji homeostazı ve enerji harcamalarının düzenlenmesinde rolü olduğu biliniyordu. Son birkaç yılda leptinin nöroendokrin regülasyon ve kemik metabolizmasında da önemli bir rol oynadığını keşfedildi. Leptin, kemik metabolizmasını dolaylı ve dolaysız yolaklar kullanarak etkiler. Hem hayvan hem de insan çalışmalarında leptin eksikliği ile ilgili kemik anormalliklerine neden olabilir. Bu nedenle osteoporoz teşhisi konulan bireyler ile sağlıklı bireylerin serum leptin seviyeleri; tespit edilerek osteoporoz göstergesi olan DXA ölçüm değerleri ve parathormon, D vitamini, Ca+2 ve fosfat değerleri ile etkileşimini ve sağlıklı bireylerle kıyaslanması yapılarak kemik sağlığı üzerinde leptinin etkileri araştırıldı. Her iki gruptaki bireylerin ölçülen değerleri karşılaştırıldığında Ldxa ve Fdxa yönünden gruplar arası farklılık bulunurken (p<0,05); ölçülen diğer tüm parametreler yönünden çalışma grupları arasındaki farklılık önemsiz bulunmuştur (p>0,05). Kontrol grubunda Leptin ile VKİ arasında aynı yönlü (r=0,87) bir ilişki bulunurken; Hasta grubunda Leptin ile VKİ arasında aynı yönlü (r=0,72) bir ilişki bulunmuştur. dc.description.abstractOsteoporosis, one of today's diseases, is a disease that occurs in the scapular and causes the bones to break very easily. Leptin, a hormone in the peptide structure, was known to play a role in regulating energy homeostasis and energy expenditure. Over the last few years, leptin has also been found to play an important role in neuroendocrine regulation and bone metabolism. Leptin effects bone metabolism using indirect and direct pathways. Both animal and human studies may cause bone abnormalities associated with leptin deficiency. For this reason, serum Leptin levels of healthy subjects and individuals diagnosed with osteoporosis; and the effects of leptin on bone health were investigated by comparing with DXA measurement values and parathormone, D vitamine, Ca + 2 and phosphate values, which are osteoporosis indicators, and comparison with healthy subjects. When the measured values of the individuals in both groups were compared, there was a difference between the groups in terms of Ldxa and Fdxa (p<0,05); the differences between the study groups were found to be insignificant in terms of all other measured parameters (p>0,05). In the control group, there was a relationship between Leptin and VKI in the same direction (r = 0.87); In the patient group, a similar relationship was found between Leptin and VKI (r = 0.72).
