dc.description.abstractBu çalısmada performans ve onun önemli bir bileseni olan etkinligin temel kavramları ürerinde durulmustur. Sonra etkinlik ölçüm metotlarından biri olan Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA) yöntemi açıklanmıstır. Çalısmanın uygulama kısmında, Türkiye'deki kamu üniversiteleri verileri toplanmıstır. Bu veriler bilgisayar paket programda islenerek üniversitelerin etkinlik skorları, etkin olmayan üniversitelerin etkin hale geçmeleri için yapmaları gereken potansiyel iyilestirmeler, bu potansiyel iyilestirmeleri yaparken kendilerine referans olarak seçebilecekleri etkin üniversiteler tespit edildi. Bütün analiz sonuçları ve bu sonuçlara baglı öneriler sunuldu.en_US
dc.description.abstractBasic concepts of performance and its an important component, efficiency have been examined in this study. In addition, Data Envelopment Analysis, one of the methods measuring efficiency has been explained. In the practical part of the study, data of the Turkish state universities have been compiled and processed by a computer package program to obtain the efficiency scores of the universities, the potential improvements required by the inefficient universities to become efficient, and the efficient universities determined for reference in potential improvements. The results of whole analyses and recommendations have been presented.en_US
