Mutezile açısından iman ekseninde günah ve tevbe

Mutezile, İslam Kelamının oluşmasında önemli etkileri olan bir inanç ekolüdür. Ele aldığı konularda aklı ön plana alıp dini nassları bu çerçevede değerlendirmiş, kendi devrinde mevcut bulunan Mürci'î ve Haricî fikirleri eleştirmişlerdir.Mutezile mezhebinin oluşmasında mürtekib-i kebîre (büyük günah işleyen kişinin durumu) konusu önemli bir yere sahiptir. Şöyle ki, bir kişi Müslüman olduğu halde zina, katl gibi büyük günahlardan birini işlerse bu kişinin dini durumu nasıl değerlendirilecektir ? Bu soruya Mutezile, böyle bir kişinin ne mümin ne de kafir olacağı, ikisi arasında bir konumda yer alacağı cevabını vermiş ve tevbe etmeden ölürse cehennemde ebedî olarak kalacağını ileri sürmüşlerdir.Tevbe, Mutezile'ye göre işlenen günahın cezasını düşüren bir konuma sahiptir. Onlara göre küçük günahlar tevbesiz affedilebilir ama büyük günahlar tevbesiz asla affedilmez. Bu durum yani Allah'ın günahları tevbesiz affetmesi O'nun adaletine gölge düşürecektir. Çünkü Allah Kur'an'da va'd ve vaîdini hak olarak bildirmiştir. Allah'ın sözünden dönmesi ise mümkün değildir. Bu nedenle böyle bir kişinin hemen tevbe etmesi gerekir. Aksi halde ebedî cezadan kurtulamaz.

The denomination of Mutazila is a denomination that has a great importance in the formation of the knowledge of Islamic theology. He criticizes the Murdji?s and Kahawarij?s ideas that are present in he?s own period.The most important matter that has a part in the formation of the denomination of Mutazila is the matter that how the situation of the person who commit o great sin will be in this world and in the next world. If a person, though he is a Muslim, commits a great sin such as adultery or murder how his situation will be evaluated ? To this question, Mutazila gives an answer that a person like this will neither be a Muslim nor a non-Muslim and he will have a part in a situation between these two and he?s puts forward that if he dies before he forswears he will stay in the hell eternally.According to Mutazila, repentance has a situation that diminishes the punishment of the sin that has been committed. To them, minor sins can be forgiven without repentance but the major ones can never be. Being so, that is the forgiveness of Allah without repentance overshadows the justice of Allah. Since Allah reports promise and threat as a right in Quran. He is not possible for Allah to back down. Because of this reason a person like this needs to forswear immediately. Otherwise, he will not be able to get out of the eternal punishment.
