| dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Bu araştırma, Alevi-Bektaşi geleneğinde önemli bir sosyal örgütlenme biçimi olan musahiplik kurumunu, Sivas özelinde ele alarak derinlemesine incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. En genel hâliyle musahiplik, aralarında kan bağı olmayan kişilerin "ikrar" yoluyla yakınlık kurduğu; güven, dayanışma ve iş birliği temelinde şekillenen bir sanal akrabalık türü olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu bakımdan, bir inanç sistemi olmanın ötesinde zengin bir kültürel birikime sahip olan ve sosyal bir sistem olarak karşımıza çıkan Aleviliğin, musahiplik kurumuna büyük bir önem atfettiği görülmektedir. Nitekim Sivas'ta ikamet eden Alevilerin, Anadolu'nun diğer yerlerinde olduğu gibi kendilerine muhakkak bir musahip seçtikleri ve sanal olarak kurdukları bu akrabalık ilişkisini hayat boyu sürdürmeye çalıştıkları anlaşılmaktadır. Bütün bu açılardan, Sivas'ta musahiplik geleneğinin güncel durumunu, uygulanma biçimlerini, işlevlerini ve taraflara yüklediği sorumlulukları "sanal akrabalık bağları" ve "sosyal sermaye teorisi" çerçevesinde ele alan bu çalışma; nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı bir saha araştırması olarak tasarlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda, 2023-2024 yılları içerisinde Sivas şehir merkezi ve Alevi nüfusun nispeten yoğun olduğu 8 ilçeden toplamda 43 kaynak kişiyle yapılan mülakatlar aracılığıyla geleneğin güncel durumu mercek altına alınmış ve çeşitli yönleriyle irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada, Sivas'taki Alevi toplumu için oldukça önemli bir konumda olan musahiplik geleneğinin sosyo-kültürel anlam ve işlevleri derinlemesine olarak ele alınmış ve geleneğin güncel durumu hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler üretilmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the institution of "musahiplik", an important form of social organization in the Alevi-Bektashi tradition, in depth by focusing on Sivas. In its most general form, musahiplik is defined as a type of fictive kinship that is shaped on the basis of trust, solidarity and cooperation, in which people who are not related by blood establish closeness through "ikrar". In this respect, it is seen that Alevism, which has a rich cultural accumulation beyond being a belief system and appears as a social system, attributes great importance to the institution of musahiplik. As a matter of fact, it is understood that Alevis residing in Sivas, as in other parts of Anatolia, definitely choose a musahip for themselves and try to maintain this virtual kinship relationship throughout their lives. From all these perspectives, this study, which examines the current status of the musahip tradition in Sivas, the ways in which it is practiced, its functions and the responsibilities it imposes on the parties within the framework of "virtual kinship ties" and "social capital theory", is designed as a field research using qualitative data collection methods. In this context, the current state of the tradition has been examined through in-depth interviews with a total of 43 informants in Sivas city center and 8 districts with relatively dense Alevi populations in 2023-2024. As a result, in this study, the socio-cultural meanings and functions of the musahiplik tradition, which is very important for the Alevi community in Sivas, have been discussed in depth and detailed information about the current state of the tradition has been produced. | |
