dc.description.abstract | There has always been a relationship between the poets and sultans. While the Sultans wanted to use their poems with their poems, poets presented their poems to the statesmen with the desire to be protected from various angles. As a result of this effort, poems were written for Abdulhamid II. The newspapers of the period Hanimlara Mahsus Gazete did not remain indifferent to the sultan, was followed by a broadcast of supporters of Abdulhamid II in an atmosphere where dissident winds blown abundantly. Hanimlara Mahsus Gazete, II. Abdulhamid's culus anniversary, the first page of the Ottoman coat of arms with the inscription of women's poets wrote for the Abdulhamid has given place. In these culusiyyes, women poets prayed for her and expressed their happiness for her time. They emphasized the sultan's justice, compassion, and importance to knitting, and said that the girls could read in his time and even write thanks to him. Fatma Aliye, Emine Semiye, Yasar Nezihe, Nigar Hanim, who prepared the ground for many of the intellectuals of the period such as Hanimlara Mahsus Gazete continued its uninterrupted broadcasting between 1895-1908 and its broadcasting life after the Constitutional Monarchy II ended. The newspaper continued its centuries-long tradition with its culusiyyes, which left a dome of the ancient times of the divan poetry. In addition, these poems in the newspaper are important in terms of shedding light on the period of Abdulhamid and for presenting the perspectives of her period especially to women writers. | |
