| dc.description.abstract | Genişlemeli tektoniğe bağlı olarak gelişen Büyük Menderes Grabeni ile Gediz Grabeninin kesiştiği yerde oluşan çöküntü alanının doğu kenarında yer alan çalışma alanının temelinde Mesozoyik yaşlı dolomit ve dolomitik kayaçlardan oluşan allokton konumlu Likya Napları yer almaktadır. Temel örtü ayırdımının net olarak gözlendiği bölgede örtü birimlerini paraallokton konumlu Paleojen yaşlı denizel birimler ve Neojen yaşlı gölsel oluşuklardan oluşan neotokton karasal oluşuklar oluşturmaktadır. Paraallokton konumlu Eosen-Oligosen yaşlı birimlerin stratigrafisinin ayrıntılı olarak inceleneceği çalışmada, bu birimlerin Likya naplarından oluşan temel kayaları ve neotokton örtü birimleri ile olan ilişkileri ayrıntılı olarak ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış ve bu yolla bölge jeolojisine ve stratigrafisine katkı koymak amaçlanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The study area is on the eastern edge of the collapsed area at Büyük Menderes Graben and Gediz Graben which are developed due to expansion tectonics. At the base of the study area is located the allochtonous Lycian Nappes of Mesozoic aged including dolomite and dolomitic rocks. The cover units in the area where the base-cover separation is clearly observed constitute from Paleogene aged marine units in paraallocton position and the neotectonic terrestrial formations consisting of Neogene aged lacustrine formations. In this study is aimed to determine the detail stratigraphy of the paraallochtonous Eocene-Oligocene units of the location and to define the relation with base rocks and neo otochtonous cover units of this unit. In this way, it is aimed to contribute to regional geology and stratigraphy. | en_US |
