Cezaevi koşulları ve mahkumlar (Sivas E Tipi Kapalı Cezaevi örneği)

Cezaevi ve mahkûmlar hemen her toplumda ve çağda dikkat çeken konular olmuşlardır. Cezaevlerinin toplum için görülmeyen yerler olması ve mahkûmların toplumun düzenini bozan eylemleri nedeniyle bu yerlere kapatılmış olması hem cezaevlerine hem de mahkûmlara duyulan ilgiyi artırmıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı, cezaevi koşullarının mahkûmların ıslahı noktasındaki etkilerini açıklamaktır.Bu çalışmamızın hem kuramsal hem de uygulamalı olmak üzere iki farklı boyutu bulunmaktadır. Kuramsal kısmında, suç ve suçlulukla ilgili kavramlara, suçu açıklamaya yönelik teorilere ve cezaevi olgusuna yer verilmektedir. Uygulamalı kısmında ise, Sivas E Tipi Kapalı Cezaevi'nde çeşitli suçlardan hüküm giymiş 355 mahkûmdan oluşan örneklem grubu ile çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada yaş, cinsiyet, medeni hal, meslek vs. bağımsız değişken olarak alınmış; hükümlülere 64 soruluk bir anket uygulanmıştır.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; hükümlülerin eğitim seviyesi ve ekonomik gelir düzeyi düşüktür. Özellikle 25?34 yaş aralığında suç işleme oranı yüksektir. Hükümlülerin tamamına yakınının işledikleri suçtan pişman oldukları görülmüştür. Mahkûmların çoğunluğunun koşulları yetersiz bulduğu görülmüştür.Anahtar kelimeler: suç, suçluluk, hükümlü, cezaevi.

Prisons and convicts have become the subjects paying attention on nearly all the populations and ages. Because of the prisons are the places populations cannot see and the convicts are closed due to the activity of illegal, the interest of prisons and convicts have increased. The aim of this work is to explain the effect of the conditions of prisons on convicts. This work has two different sides as theoretical and practical. In the theoretical side, it includes in the terms of quilt and guiltiness and the theories of explaining the guilt and the phenomenon of prison.In the practical side, target groups are worked including 355 convicts condemned with different quilts in Sivas E Type Closed Prison. In this work, age, sex, marital statuses, economical status, job, learning status are taken as independent variable; A survey with 64 questions are applicated to convicts.According to the results of research, the literate and economical statuses are insufficient. Especially, the rate of quilts between 24 and 34 ages are high. Almost all convicts are seemed they have regretted on account of their quilts. Most of convicts have thought the conditions are insufficient.Key Words: quilt, guiltiness, convict, prison.
