Evaluation of Primary Health Services: With The Dimension of Nursing Practices
Abstract
The initial stage of existing health systems is primary health care. These institutions, which
form the basis of health services, are the units that provide health services to the individual
and society. These units, which are important to provide a holistic health service, form the
basis of the health system. The foundation of primary health care is based on family medicine,
nursing and midwifery practices. Among these services, nurses have vital roles and
responsibilities to improve public health. Nurses have traditionally focused on preventing
disease and changing people's health-related habits to promote health and prevent disease. In
this context, in this review study, the duties and responsibilities of nurses for public health and
welfare within the scope of providing primary health care services at an accurate and sufficient level will be discussed in line with international declarations, national lawsregulations
and relevant literature.
