dc.description.abstractNovel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). COVID-19 has high mortality rates. It has become a severe pandemic worldwide. Real-time PCR testing is still the gold standard test method for the definitive diagnosis of COVID-19 despite the possibility of false negatives. Radiological imaging methods, especially computed tomography (CT), are important assistant methods in the diagnosis and management of the disease. This review presents the role of CT in COVID-19 pneumonia, its diagnostic accuracy, thorax CT findings of the disease and differential diagnosis.
