Processable GO‑PANI Nanocomposite for Supercapacitor Applications
(2022)
In this study, graphene oxide (GO)-polyaniline (PANI) binary nanocomposite was prepared with a facile, green, and one-step
in situ polymerization approach using dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid as a dopant and stabilizing ...
Magnetic solid-phase extraction coupled to high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-diode array detection method has been developed for the sensitive analysis of Anastrozole (ANA) and Letrozole (LET) in human urine samples. Characterization studies of the newly synthesized material (Fe3O4@TEPA) were carried out by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscope techniques. The method has provided linearity for both the analytes (r2 > 0.9900) in the range of 4.00–160.00 ng mL−1. The limit of detections for ANA and LET was found to be 1.14 and 1.26 ng mL−1, respectively. The limit of quantification for ANA and LET was obtained 3.78 and 3.86 ng mL−1, respectively. The new method was simple, convenient, fast, and suitable for the direct analysis of ANA and LET in urine samples. Finally, the developed method was applied to the spiked human urine samples to test accuracy and repeatability. Recovery values for each of the molecules were calculated in the range of 93.4–108.0% (n = 3) at two concentration levels, while % RSDs were lower than 6.2%. Graphical abstract
(Elsevier, 15.04.2022)
A new Polyacrylamide (PAA)-Vermiculite (V) composite was synthesized and characterized with the help of FTIR, SEM, and PZC analyses. The effects of ion concentration, pH and ionic strength parameters to adsorption process ...
Novel Applications of Microextraction Techniques Focused on Biological and Forensic Analyses
(MDPI, 15.02.2022)
In recent years, major attention has been focused on microextraction procedures that allow high recovery of target analytes, regardless of the complexity of the sample matrices. The most used techniques included liquid-liquid ...
Boldine provides protective effect against nephrotoxicity induced by cisplatin in Wistar rats: Role of oxidative stress, inflammation and caspase-3
(Tech Science Press, 18 May 202)
Side effects of cisplatin, especially dose-dependent nephrotoxicity, are major factors limiting its use in cancer. Boldine ((S)-2, 9-dihydroxy-1, 10-dimethoxy-aporphine) is a natural alkaloid known for its strong antioxidant ...
Novel Ag(I)-NHC complex: synthesis, in vitro cytotoxic activity, molecular docking, and quantum chemical studies
(2022)
The importance of organometallic complexes in
cancer biology has attracted attention in recent years. In
this paper, we look for the in vitro cytotoxic capability of
novel benzimidazole-based N-heterocyclic carbene ...
Intake of divalent copper and nickel onto natural zeolite from aqueous solutions: a study in mono- and dicomponent systems
(2022)
In this study, the noncompetitive and competitive adsorption process of copper (II) and nickel (II) ions on the natural zeolite were examined in simulated wastewater in a batch system with respect to concentration, pH and ...
An evaluation on S-type adsorption isotherm in the model of crosslinked polyhydroxamates/oxazine dyes/water interactions
(SPRINGER, ONE NEW YORK PLAZA, SUITE 4600 , NEW YORK, NY 10004, UNITED STATES, AUG 2022)
The effects of crosslinker and dye type on swelling and S-type adsorption properties of crosslinked polyhydroxamates (CHP) were investigated. CHPs containing N,NMODIFIER LETTER PRIME-methylenebisacrylamide (N), or ethylene ...
Galium aparine L. protects against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in rats
(Ağustos 20)
The toxicity of acetaminophen (N-acetyl-para-aminophenol (APAP)) is the most frequent cause of drug-induced liver damage. Galium aparine L. (GA) is traditionally used to treat jaundice. We aimed to investigate the hep ...
